Center Pieces is Nick Bindeman and Dan Sasaki. The band began in the Winter of 2017/18 in a Garden of Awakening Orchids. A special evening performance in Portland, Oregon’s Lan Su Chinese Gardens.

Nick and Dan have logged in thousands of hours practicing, recording and performing across the United States, Europe, Scandinavia, and Japan with the band Jackie-O Motherfucker. From the years of playing in JOMF, the guitar playing and drumming of Nick and Dan have melded.

For over a decade, Nick Bindeman has been involved in the NW music scene. He was a founding member of Portland based psych group Eternal Tapestry. Nick also has a solo project called Tunnels. Both bands have released numerous albums on the Thrill Jockey label.

Dan likes all music as long as it doesn’t suck.
